Fintellect Intelligent Financial Services conducted a highly engaging Workshop on Financial Planning & Portfolio Management for the students of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Palwal, Haryana — India’s first Government Skill University, established by the Government of Haryana, on 15th April, 2025.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 80 students of B.Com. (Hons./Hons. with Research) and B.Voc. Management (Financial Services) programmes under the Skill Department of Banking and Finance.
Dr. Samarth Singh, Chairperson, Skill Department of Banking & Finance, welcomed and introduced The Fintellect team, providing the opportunity for this insightful session.
The workshop was opened by Ms. Ratika Agarwal, Head – Learning & Development at The Fintellect, who introduced the session, and warmly welcomed the distinguished expert in financial planning and portfolio management, Mr. Shiv Raj Singh, CFP®, Designated Partner & Principal Officer at The Fintellect.
Mr. Singh delivered the session with his deep expertise, emphasizing the real-world relevance of disciplined financial planning, goal-based investing, and portfolio management. His practical examples, relatable case studies, and thought-provoking discussions opened new doors of thinking for the students — inspiring them to view financial planning not just as a skill, but as a crucial life tool.
